LoGOz-BubblesBotBSemi-bgWow, what a month March was, gigs at Stanley, Hebburn, Gateshead, Blyth and two in Ashington, including a Battle of the Bands Semi Final AND Final as well as 2 gigs in one day on Good Friday, one of those being for Charity. Sadly we didn’t win the Battle of the Bands Final, that was won by Jnr Voodoo, but it was very close with a 3/2/2 vote from the 7 judges, we were equal second with The Beth Macari Band and clinched a deal to record and release a single via iTunes and other outlets.

We had lots of radio play on Koast Radio and Radio Northumberland, the latter including a radio interview with live acoustic tracks, Hello Lonely, No Win Situation & Alienation,  with Keith Newman of New Wave with Newman. Keith also attended one of our shows, at The Ex in Ashington, and recorded it to play as a special show on Radio Northumberland.

We added a new YouTube Channel to keep all of our videos in one place and added a few new live videos to keep you all updated.

We secured a booking to support a touring US band, The Scutches, who are touring the UK with Derby band The Atoms, in Gateshead next month. We were also asked to support Sticky Fingers, a very successful and long running rock covers band, at The Rugby Club in Ashington next month.

There were a couple of new songs written this month and some have been added to the live set, including S.O.S. (Save Our Salvation) and Hello Lonely.

So March was a canny month and it’s onwards and upwards from here, just have to wait and see what April has in store.

See ya!
